The Financial Balances section of your LessAccounting Dashboard provides you a quick view to your bank balances for financial accounts you have set up. The financial accounts which can be set up include savings accounts, checking accounts, credit card accounts, and even Paypal accounts.

To learn more about Financial Accounts and a step by step setup guide for importing transactions, visit this page.

This quick-view of your financial account balances is the CURRENT balance of your accounts, showing all imported transactions from your bank as of the moment you're viewing it. This means that when you notice that it doesn't coincide with the latest statement from your bank, there's no need to worry because your bank statement shows transactions at a certain cutoff date, while your Financial Balances section shows CURRENT balances.

Upon clicking on any of your accounts, a summary of the transactions for the selected account appears. It would initially list all transactions for that account, but you can further filter by type of transaction, date, tags, and financial account.
