In your LessAccounting Dashboard page, you'll find a section named Spending Breakdown. This section provides you with the expense categories that have the highest spending for either the year, the quarter, or the month.
The Spending Breakdown looks like this:
To view the detailed, line by line expenses that have gone into a specific category, just click on the specific expense and period. After clicking, a summary for the specific expense category will be shown by the transaction level.
The report can continue to be filtered by date, by tags, and by payee.
This filter allows you to show the transactions based on the tags that you choose to filter by. This is a great feature that allows you to track transactions in very custom ways, such as by location, by project, or by income stream.
